Weights #2

We all need somebody to lean on.  How strong are your shoulders.  Do you have weak, semi-strong or strong shoulders?  Good question.  Sometimes in life you just need a shoulder to lean on.  If you need a shoulder from time to time just think about it –  someone else might just need a shoulder too.  What are shoulders for?  Good question- are they for shrugging, assist with lifting, help you to embrace – support for your body, etc.

The human shoulder is made up of three bones: the clavicle (collarbone), the scapula (shoulder blade), and the humerus (upper arm bone) as well as associated muscles, ligaments and tendons. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoulder). Weight lifting is suppose to help you to become stronger.  The thing with weights though is that you don’t hold them up constantly.  You lift and then you put them down.  We are not built to carry extra weight around all the time – whether our own or someone elses.

GET THIS! –Lifting is necessary from time to time, but you have to know when to put down weight so there won’t be any unnecessary injuries!
