Ever thought about what it takes to build a beautiful temple.  Let’s see, I don’t think you would put things in it to weaken it, but things that would keep the foundation strong and durable through the good seasons and the rough seasons.

Well think about it.  Your body is the Temple of God.  What are you doing to your temple?  Are you putting things in your temple to keep it strong through the good seasons and rough seasons – or, are you neglecting it through the winter in hopes of rebuidling in the summer.

Well, it just doesn’t work that way.  The bible tells us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God for this is our reasonable service. (“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”) (Romans 12:1) Are you being reasonable with the body God has given you.  Or, are you leaving it to take care of itself. Every house needs a caretaker or it will just dry up, rot out, crumble and fall.

Challenge 4

Take some time today to develop a rebuilding plan for your temple and then be diligent putting it into action! Don’t wait until the season changes, be ready to enjoy it when it does!
