Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)

It’s easy sometimes to get stuck in the past.  Don’t allow yourself to become trapped in the past.  Wherever you are right now, understand that you have the power to move out of your stagnant position.  Sometimes we have to muster up all the power, energy and strength we have to do what we know is the best thing for us.  No need to beat up on yourself – no need to go through the guilt of feeling unaccomplished and defeated.  I mean, you can if you want to, but it’s just a waste of time.  Take that energy and set a clear path for yourself – don’t allow the energy zappers to take control of your thoughts and deeds.  Sometimes people stay around you to be in the way of your progress.  It’s okay to step away and allow them to pass by.  But you must keep in step with where you are going.  You may slow down from time to time, but JUST DON’T QUIT!

This week is ending – a new week is about to start. Where are you going?  Only you can answer that question.  Figure it out and let’s get moving.
