Pray for Baltimore

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16,-17).

During this time of unrest, I ask the question – what is the solution to our problem?  Yes, our problem.  So many people are hurting and suffering.  Well, the answer is LOVE.  The world is so love-deprived that some people resort to war and destruction because they feel helpless, hopeless and unloved.

Praying, not only for Baltimore, but for the entire world.  We must understand that love covers a multitude of sin and Christ came, suffered, bled and died for all of us.

While different ones search for an answer, we must continue to pray that more people find The Answer, and that is Christ Jesus.  We all need Him, and we all benefit from His love.  What can we do to help in such a crisis?  Glad you asked.  I believe in my heart that we can love those that God places in our space and be willing to embrace them with love and not condemnation.

Life is beautiful, but when one feels helpless and hopeless it’s more comfortable to resort to drastic measures to get the attention they feel is needed.  People cry in many ways, but people do cry.  All of us are human and we tend to make mistakes and make bad choices.  We must continue to walk in the light of Jesus Christ and spread as much love as we can.  Love begins with our own families.  Love unconditionally.  Love in spite of.  Love until it hurts.  Love until it heals.  Love, love, love and love some more.  Doesn’t cost you anything and you don’t have to have a meeting to figure it out.  Just do it.   Let’s not stand at the judgment gate, but let’s stand in the gap and pray without ceasing that souls will be saved and hearts will be healed.  Be willing to sacrifice your time and energy to be a blessing to someone else.  LOVE!

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (II Chronicles 7:14)
